Bangalore University to commence online classes for UG, PG courses

With the rise of Covid-19 cases across the country, Bangalore University announced on Tuesday to conduct online classes for all final semesters of PG courses of Arts, Commerce, Management, Science, Physical Education and Education for the academic year 2020-21 from May 5, 2021.

The UG course classes will also commence in digital mode for all even semesters (IInd, IVth, VIth, and VIIIth semesters) from April 28 onwards for the academic year 2020-21.

The official notice also stated that online classes for Ist semester (all postgraduate courses) will continue as notified earlier. The varsity added that the academic calendar of the same will be released soon, in its official notification.

The Bangalore University had earlier decided that due to the spike in Covid-19 cases, the UG and PG semester exams scheduled to be held on April 19, 20 and 21 should be postponed.

The varsity had postponed the Ist, IInd, and IIIrd semester BArch/BTech (CBCS scheme) commencing from April 19 of University Visvesvaraya Engineering College, and also the IIIrd semester MBA/MCA/M.Ed/MSc (Statistics) examination commencing from April 20.
