The Directorate of School Education (DoE) of Haryana District has announced the summer vacation in all the government and private schools from 1st June 2022 to 30th June 2022. All the schools have been instructed to implement the order, and the new academic session will start on 1st July 2022.

The DoE also updated the school timings for classes 1 to 12, and it will be from 7 am to 12 pm. The 10th and 12th classes will be continued during summer vacation, and the classes will be conducted online. The Haryana government had launched the “e-Adhigam” scheme for online learning. They have distributed three lakh tablets to government school students for 10th and 12th class students.

The device has been pre-loaded with the content and personalized and adaptive learning software with 2GB of free data. The students of the 10th and 12th classes can use these devices to get learnings.

Many other schools from different states also have announced the summer vacations. However, many states have decided to reduce the summer vacations to compensate for the learning loss caused by the pandemic, which compelled schools, colleges, and other educational institutions for complete shutdown.
