In Singapore, 850 people Attend the Global Conference on Education Research

The Eras International Conference and Wera Focal Meeting 2023 was held in Singapore by THE Educational Research Association of Singapore (ERAS), in association with the World Education Research Association (WERA), the National Institute of Education, and Nanyang Technological University.

Around the world, 850 educators and researchers attended, including specialists from South-East Asian, Germany, Spain, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

The goal of the conference, which was one of the first of its kind following the COVID-19 pandemic, was to showcase the newest tools, methods, and technologies in education.

The conference provided a platform for educators from across the globe to share perspectives on the distinct problems, creative solutions, and advancements made on a global scale.

Speakers and practitioners covered a broad range of subjects under the theme “Forging Ahead: Transforming Education in a Rapidly Changing World.”

Assessment, curriculum studies, education for citizenship and character, diverse and inclusive education, education in the early years, research on educational policies, education and emerging technologies, leadership and education, teaching and learning in the post-COVID-19 era, education and sustainability, teacher preparation and professional development, and motivation and learning were among them.

Insights from worldwide experts and researchers, chances for international networking, groundbreaking advancements in educational research, and applications for educational practise were all provided by the conference to its attendees.

The purpose of the event was to involve graduate students, teachers, researchers, and educators.
