National Board of Accreditation (NBA) one of the two major accreditation bodies in India has accredited the B.Tech Programs offered by the Departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Biotechnology by 3 years, till the end of the academic year 2021-2022 (i.e) up to 30.6.2022. 
An Expert Committee visited Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS) from 5th to 7th April 2019 to verify the data under Tier-1 evaluation. Based on the recommendations made by the NBA expert Team, the Member Secretary, NBA, New Delhi has communicated the Accreditation Status given to the above programs offered by Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.
