Last attempt under old syllabus can be made by November in CA exams
CA exams

The CA Institute has now extended the date for last attempt to take the final and intermediate examination under old courses to November 2021. This extension has been given to remove the problems caused to the students due to coronavirus spread, sources close to the development said.

This will be applicable for all students of these old courses despite of whether they opted out of the May 2021 exam cycle or not, they added. This suggests that those students who didn’t appear for the May 2021 examination cycle and those who did appear but would want to attempt it again in November 2021, would all be permitted to take the exam.

The CA exams usually are held under two cycles — May and November. However, in the light of Covid-19 induced lockdown across the nation, there have been some developments effected to the exam schedule. This year’s May exam was held in July and the upcoming November exam will be held in December.
