The Maharashtra government has taken note of the fee systems in Ukraine and Russia for medical education. State minister Amit Deshmukh said on Tuesday that officials have been directed to explore if such facilities can be provided to pupils in the state.

He also stated that the state administration will investigate the causes for students studying overseas.

He informed that some work must be done to ensure that students wanting to study abroad have access to the necessary resources here, with the Centre and state governments working together on this.
