According to a new report, the worldwide online English-as-a-second-language learning industry will be worth $10 billion in 2021, with the sector for children of all ages around $3 billion. The survey was performed by J’son & Partners, a research and consultancy organisation, from March to June 2021, and looked at the whole offline and online ESL learning market.

According to the report, the market for English language learning (including traditional offline and online) will reach a new high of 1.7 billion learners in 2021.

Maxim Azarov, founder of Novakid, one of the companies assessed in the study, said that the Covid-19 epidemic has had a significant influence on the digital learning and language learning markets, resulting in a significant rise in online education users and market growth.

The study looked at over 90 worldwide and local online schools with various economic strategies, as well as 36 European nations’ online ESL audiences and schools.
