Bhopal, April 13, 2019: Sagar Institute of Science and Technology (SISTec), Department of Mechanical Engineering culminated its 7th edition of National Level Working Model Competition ‘Nirmaan 2019’ – Innovation Beyond Imagination. The two-day event was organized by SISTec Mechanical Engineers Association (SMEA) in association with Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE, India) & Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering (IIIE) Student Chapter. ‘Nirmaan 2019’ witnessed the presence of 750+ students from 45+ institutions with a display of 150+ working models in the field of solar energy, wind energy, biogas, agriculture, automobile, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, mobile applications, software, smart city, etc in over 13 categories from Pan India showcasing their working models.
‘Nirmaan 2019’ culminated by seeking blessings of ‘Maa Saraswati’ and lighting of ceremonial lamp by esteemed Chief Guest by Dr Sunil Kumar – Vice-Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Mr Nitin Sisodiya CEO, Soham Innovation Lab as its Guest of Honour in presence of Shri Siddharth Sudhir Agrawal – Managing Director, Sagar Group, Dr. Keshavendra Choudhary – Principal SISTec, Dr Kulpeep Ganju Principal, SIPTec, Dr Swati Saxena – Vice Principal SISTec, Prof. Ravishankar V Choudri – HOD Mechanical Department & President SMEA, faculty members and students were also present on the occasion.
