Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya is the Founder, President, and Chairman of the Suryadatta Education Foundation. He is a visionary, educationist, philanthropist, who has led the Suryadatta Group of Institutions from the stages of pre-school to Ph.D. He is a Chartered Engineer with over three decades of experience in the field of Corporate, Management, Information Technology, Mass Communication, Corporate Governance, Academics, Innovation, Value Education, Yoga Meditation, Training and Research. With the meticulous work, he has been honored with numerous awards counting over 50 awards for his indelible contribution to Excellence in Education, Spiritual, Social, and World Peace activities.

He has successfully initiated the “Edu-Socio Connect Initiative” where in, he religiously follows the philosophy of “Free Education for equal number of students taking professional education, in their various institutions, beyond all boundaries of caste, religion, culture, and geography and for the rehabilitation of the needy, deserving strata of society to enhance the quality of their life.”

He has served the Govt. of India as Member of Sub-Group on Raw Material for the Auto Industry, and as a member of Strategy and Planning for the Department of Industrial Development, Ministry of Industry and as the Official Coordinator for Corporate Governance Curriculum – a project by the Parliamentary Standing Committee and as a Member of the Ministry of Steel Industries for Automobile Industries
Recently, he also served the Ministry of Telecommunication as a Member of the Telephone Advisory Committee – Pune division

The overall development of the students is ensured through various unique initiatives such as active learning sessions by senior adjunct faculty from the industry, blended learning through MOOCs, extensive usage of Innovationext lab, emphasis on digital and self-paced learning, peer learning through innovative pedagogy, group learning through groups, and forums and cells. It also conducts leadership development programs through outbound training and intercollegiate events, innovative industry connect activities such as shadowing, study tours, corporate interviews, knowledge management initiatives, and many more.

The MBA and PGDM curricula are based on Choice Based Credit & Grading System (CBCGS) and Outcome Based Education (OBE) pattern. The students have enough flexibility to choose amongst multiple elective aligned with their choices, aspiration, and competence.

Innovative Technology- A Momentous Stride

Innovative Technology is extensively used for engaging with the key stakeholders viz. the students, the faculty and the industry. The digital technology platforms such as MOOCs, Google classroom, open source software are used for activities such as curriculum planning, curriculum delivery, concurrent assessment and end semester evaluation. This is ensured through wide use of open source content like Google, YouTube, Google Scholar, academic databases, academic and research portals, resources from AICTE, SPPU, UGC, digital platforms such as swayam, NPTEL, DELNET etc.

The institute has specific MOOCs through an association with Harvard Business Publishing(HBP), IIMBx, AIMA Business Simulation Lab, Innovationext Lab for delivery of online MOOCs, online cases, online simulations and online innovations and incubation activities.
