The University of Arizona Provides Foreign Students with the Global Wildcat Scholarship For Study Abroad
The University of Arizona

The University of Arizona is offering the Global Wildcat Award to incoming freshmen and transfer students, providing them with the opportunity to receive scholarships ranging from $5,500 to $22,000 per academic year. These scholarships are designed to assist students with various educational expenses, including tuition, fees, books, living costs, and required health insurance.

To be considered for the Global Wildcat First-Year Award, prospective students simply need to submit their completed admission application by the specified application deadline. The scholarships are intended to be used for the semester for which they were initially offered.

Eligibility for these merit-based scholarships is based on academic achievements and test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, and PTE Academic) of international students who apply for admission to the University of Arizona. It’s important to note that the scholarship offers are non-negotiable and won’t be increased to match offers from other institutions. The initial offer remains the same for continuing students, even if they improve their GPA during their studies at the University of Arizona.

These scholarships are exclusively for undergraduate studies, and students who are conditionally admitted and enrolled in the CESL U-Track Pathway program can still be eligible for the scholarship if they successfully complete one semester in the program and then enroll full-time at the University of Arizona in the following semester.

Additionally, if a student qualifies as an Arizona resident, the scholarship may be adjusted to cover a portion of resident tuition if they meet the eligibility criteria. It’s worth noting that this award cannot be combined with other tuition awards, such as National Merit Finalist, National Scholar, Transfer Tuition Scholarship, Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship, certain ROTC Tuition Awards, the Arizona-Sonoran Tuition Award, sponsored student scholarships, or specific departmental tuition awards, depending on the type and amount of those awards.

Prospective students can find more information and apply for these scholarships on the official University of Arizona website at everywhere.arizona.edu.
