Why Ukraine is a preferred choice among Indian students for medical studies

Studying MBBS in a foreign country is very expensive. With living expenses, an MBBS for five and a half to six years in Ukraine would cost no more than Rs 35 lakh to Rs 40 lakh. In India, the cost of a management quota seat is set at Rs 30-70 lakh. As a result of this significant disparity, many aspiring students are turning their attention to emerging economies.

The low cost of education, as well as the fact that courses in Ukrainian medical colleges are recognised by the World Health Organization and are also valid in India, as well as the European Council of Medicine and the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom, give children more opportunities to settle outside of their home country.

Many people apply overseas because of tough competition at home and a scarcity of places. Students take the Foreign Medical Graduates Exam (FMGE) when they return to India to obtain a licence to practise medicine.
