Vanderbilt Law School received a $10 million donation from a member of the Vanderbilt University Board of Trustees to help buffer one of the nation’s best law schools.

Justin Ishbia is the founder and managing partner of a private equity firm named Shore Capital Partners. He is a member of the Vanderbilt Law School Board of Advisors and a JD’04 alumni.

In 2015, Ishbia established a fund in his honor to help Law School students with financial aid. Ishbia has also lectured at the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt and twice given the keynote talk at the annual Vanderbilt Entrepreneurship Conference.
