DU Admissions 2022: A top varsity official said on Monday that around 11,600 students who were assigned seats in Delhi University’s first round of admission had been upgraded to the college and program of their choice in the second merit list.
According to DU Registrar Vikas Gupta, 8,133 new students have been assigned seats at Delhi University institutions.
He added that a total of 33,739 hopefuls sought seat upgrades, with more than 34% being assigned to the college and course of their choice.
Admission to the second round of allocation is now ongoing. In September, the institution launched the admissions process for nearly 70,000 seats.
“Of the 33,739 candidates chosen in the first round who asked for upgradation, 11,649 were allowed upgradation due to their greater presence of college courses,” Gupta added.
