The man that hath no music in himself, Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds, Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils; The motions of his spirit are dull as night, And his affections dark as Erebus. Let no such man be trusted. Mark the music. ― William Shakespeare

Understanding music and the essentially gratifying pleasure entailing every song, is what we have to do, in order to truly stimulate our psychic composure. Being exposed to good music at a young age could not only enhance a child’s mental well-being, but also aid a comprehensive and development of its personality.

Learning any musical instrument gives us a sense of fulfillment and helps calm our mental state. The same is experienced by a child but on a higher level, and that experience stays with them. The film ‘August Rush’ is the perfect example of how music helps develop a child’s perceptions and understanding of the world.

Life is inevitable, and so is music. Till the two stay conjoined, we humans can keep relishing the joys of this world.
