Established in 1917, All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society (AISSMS) is a broad based educational and social welfare organization. It was initiated by His Highness Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur with the benevolent mission of welfare of society and spreading education. With a glorious legacy of more than 100 years, the society is admired for its visionary leadership and social reforms through education.
All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s Institute of Management (IOM) is a self financed institution, which was established in 2002. The IOM is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Government of Maharashtra.

AISSMS IOM is renowned for qualified and experienced faculty members, quality teaching pedagogy, state-of-art infrastructure, novel student development initiatives, innovative practices, and so on. It offers two years’ full time MBA Program, including specializations in Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Operations & Supply Chain Management, and Business Analytics. Its physical infrastructure is housed in a four-storied building including classrooms, seminar hall, research centre, computer centre, language lab, internal quality assurance cell, start-up & innovation cell, and NSS room. Additionally, AISSMS includes boys common room, girls common room, first aid cum sick room, library, training and placement office, and much more. All the classrooms and seminar hall are equipped with LCD projector and internet connectivity. The institute has ramp, lift, and other facilities for differently abled students. There are adequate facilities for indoor and outdoor sports and cultural activities.
The institute has an exceptional library, having and adequate collection of books and journals. It has a reading hall, e-library facility, and has e-resources like EBSCO, J-Gate, and e-books, and provides remote access facility for e-resources. IOM is a member of National Digital Library, e-Shodhsindhu, British Library and Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA). The library has SLIM 21 software for automation of library services. It has a network of 185 computers with internet facility and offers quality Wi-Fi facility along with 50 Mbps leased line internet connectivity. The institute uses ERP for effective academic planning and execution.
