Alumnus of Delhi University’s Hindu College Donates Rupees One Crore for Scholarship Foundation

The alumnus of Delhi University’s Hindu College has donated one crore rupees for scholarship foundation, and the five undergraduate students win the scholarship in its inaugural year.

The college notes in a statement, “Raj Bhargava (IAS retired), Home Affairs, Government of India, former chief secretary, and an illustrious alumnus of Hindu College recently come back to the college campus with a fund of one crore rupees for the scholarship foundation for social sciences at the undergraduate level.”

Further, the college said, “In the inaugural year, five students have been provided the scholarship.”

With the help of the scholarship, the students will get a chance to perform in an environment of opportunities and help to shape themselves as a holistic personality.

The scholarship has been allocated to the students through a rigorous selection process. The students have to give the Merit Assessment Test (MAT), and further the shortlisted candidates will have to go through an interactive session with an expert committee.
