Backed by the 35 year legacy of the ASM Group of Institutes, Institute of Management & Computer Studies (IMCOST) is one of the top ranked B-Schools in Mumbai. In the year 2004, it was established in Wagle Industrial Estate, Thane, Maharashtra.
Located in the industrial belt of Thane, the institute offers its students consistent industry interaction, enabling them to learn from the leaders. The sole objective of the founders was to provide opportunity to students belonging to all sections of the society for acquiring quality education in management and commerce streams at undergraduate level. The institute is affiliated to the University of Mumbai.

A year round celebration of life is what it is all about at the ASM Group of Institutes. Every year, over 40 events are held across the various campuses. In the preceding year, an overwhelming 60 events were conducted, making that an average of more than one per week.
Their students actively participate in various academic, co-curricular, extra-curricular, industry based, cultural, and sports competitions organized not only on campus but also at inter-college level. The institute organizes GENESIS, a week-long annual showpiece event during which, various events such as sporting events, fine arts and performing arts, and other cultural programs are organized. About the Chairman
A visionary academician and entrepreneur, Dr. Sandeep Pachpande is the Chairman of ASM Group of Institutes. He brings a multi-faceted business sense to the table every day. He has pursued Senior Executive Leadership Program from the Harvard Business School, Boston, USA and is a Harvard Business School Alumni. He has authored many books on a wide range of subjects, “Case Studies in Management”, “Enterprise Resource planning (ERP)”, “Data Mining and Data Warehousing”, “Human Resource Development”, and “Marketing Management” to name a few.
