Specialized Courses in Financial Management

Collaborative programs such as PGPFM and MBA are offered by BIBS in partnership with NSE Academy. The program is first of its kind in West Bengal in partnership with NSE academy and brings together a unique combination of renowned academicians and financial experts to help the students to gain contemporary skills and the knowledge to capitalize on forthcoming opportunities in financial management. The program combines the power of NSE Academy and PwC for a guaranteed career in core finance with a pan India acceptance. Further, PGPFM is a homogenous batch i.e., all of the same specialization it leads to focused learning.

Through NSE’s Learn to Trade (NLT) software, simulated live market trading exposure is provided to the students to learn the real operating scenarios of the financial world. Moreover, 9 industry regulatory certifications are offered to ensure that students get relevant tools to perform in the financial world. These certifications are required to work in the best financial firms in India.

He is the Chairman of BIBS and under his able leadership the institute has achieved immense success. An MBA from ENCP, Paris as well as an International CFA, Mr. Kapoor has more than 2 decades of rich professional experience in the Education Industry. Live Learning:

It provides students an opportunity to work in a corporate environment on live projects, which imparts the students, the touch and the experience of the Industry, where actually academics are applied and tested.

Entrepreneurship:

The entrepreneurship cell of the institute has objectives of nurturing students looking to start their own businesses either while studying on campus or after completion of their course

Active Mentoring:

The mentoring program provides ‘real world’ information, advice, and access to networks that are important for development of the students. This program helps students to gain confidence in both academic as well as professional life; also students get the right direction and pursue a right career in their respective field. Students get several opportunities to meet in person and learn from the industry mentors.

Placements:

The institute has placement committee under which the summer and the final placements are managed by a group of dynamic students. These students manage the entire placement process from arranging corporate visits to final interviews and even joining formalities. These activities provide immense exposures and practice learning to the students where they actually learn about placement process.

The institute conducts Placement Evaluation Test or PET for their placements in which all students need to appear. This written examination is followed by GD and PI and this process is undergone by every student for their summer and final placements. More than 150 companies visit the campus every year and more than 10% of the MBA batch has been placed internationally.
