The journey of Banasthali Vidyapith over the last eight decades has always been full of creativity, innovation and dedication to mentor women to take up leadership roles in all walks of life. High Infrastructural Facilities: There are 25academic buildings and 45 hostels for girls with adequate housing for over 2500 staff members. The libraries are automated with collection of over 220,000 books and 10,000 plus journals while campus has 600 MBPS leased line connectivity, 100% power back-up, FM Radio, Flying Club, Licensed Air Strip, 5 Trainer Aircrafts, Aviation Simulator, 180 bed hospital, water recycling, solar power, robust security system through CCTV and 24 hour guards, etc.
Faculties and Teaching Staff: There are 14 faculties and 29 departments while total number of teachers in the campus is little over 650, with 70% women teachers and over 65% as Ph.D.
Active in Community Development: The University is already involved in various Community Development Programmes such as KrishiVigyan Kendra & Khadi production. Banasthali was one of the first universities to opt for Radio Banasthali FM 90.4, a community radio station.

Prof. Aditya Shastri is a dynamic and resourceful administrator with demonstrated strong management skills. Being educated from premier institutes like BITS, Pilani and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology,an avid researcher especially in Discrete Mathematics, Graph Theory and Theory of Computation, he holds the vision of strengthening the research capacity of Banasthali Vidyapith on a global scale. He has been a major spinner in exponential growth, promote research and infrastructure development, building collaborative and interdisciplinary endeavors to foster creative activity and to further engage with the community.
Over the last few years, the Vidyapith has attained self-reliance through some bold initiative spearheaded by him. Ever since he joined, the enrollment has jumped 10-folds, budget 20-folds, workers 5-folds and Banasthali has witnessed phenomenal growth with an estimated outlay of Rs. 400 crores.

Scholarships and Financial Aids
Banasthali Vidyapith has always been committed to the cause of women’s education and rural upliftment and every year, it provides scholarships on need-cum-merit basis and financial support to many girl students for pursuing higher education. It offers stipend to Engineering and other PG students, who take up internships for a semester or two, in companies and reputed institutions. It also provides scholarships under various govt. schemes, and free education to the wards of martyred soldiers, nominated by the govt. having received bravery award, destitute girls sent by the social welfare department. The institute has an excellent initiative of bestowing eighteen girls every year with free education under the Dalmia scholarship programme.
Exposure and Collaborations: Bajaj School of Automation at Banasthali is quintessence of the Vidyapith’s relentless pursuit of excellence, where the students are exposed to real-world situations. It provides the much needed modern engineering environment to students to create systems and products with state of the art infrastructure. IBM Centre for excellence has been established to acquaint the students of emerging business trends. The Vidyapith has received grants from UGC, MHRD, DBT, DST, MEITY, Bajaj, Mahindras, Dalmia Group, Bank of America, SBI, ICICI Bank, etc. for promoting training, research and community and extension activities.
Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) is another initiative of Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. The AIC at Banasthali provides incubation programs that nurture and help grow new business ideas by offering expertise, professional guidance, and services – including access to space, business planning, education and training, and legal advice, among others — throughout the phases of the start-up development.
Global Outreach: The University also emphasises on global outreach and has exchange programmes with several institutions across the globe.
