Considering the ongoing nationwide lockdown, many schools and higher education institutions are planning to initiate virtual or online classes. The Central Board of Secondary Education along with Fit India Mission has decided to stream live fitness classes starting from April 15.
One of the board members stated that along with education, it is also important to invest in the student’s physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
The board has also issued a letter to all the principals addressing that all the sessions are downloadable and can also be made available as video capsules. Through this initiative, the board aims to engage teachers, students, and even parents. The Fit India Mission has reportedly made five video capsules of five minutes each which will be played by schools during the break period between each session.
