As part of the LDF government’s 100-day programmes, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan opened 92 school buildings, 48 higher secondary labs, and three libraries on Tuesday. CM also performed the foundation stone laying ceremony for 107 other school buildings at an online event.

The government’s goal was to transform public schools into centres of excellence. The government has spent Rs 400 crores in the public education sector to achieve this. These school buildings cost Rs 214 crore to build, with Rs 22 crore spent on 48 higher secondary labs.
