In the 1860s, seven Sisters of Mercy from New Hampshire were sent to educate the people of Omaha. They gave piano lessons, established grade schools, and in 1923, founded College of Saint Mary. College of Saint Mary is located in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska, a thriving four-season city on the Missouri River.
CSM offers several new accelerated academic programs that help students save on tuition/housing costs and enter the workforce sooner than their peers at other institutions. And in 2015, CSM joined the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) which provides a higher (and broader) level of competition for athletes participating in its 10 varsity sports.A community of faith and learning, College of Saint Mary offers an education that inspires academic excellence and celebrates the roles of women as scholars and contributors to society, family, and church.

76%of undergraduate students received federal loans to help pay for college. At some schools where few students borrow federal loans, the typical undergraduate may leave school with $0 in debt.More than 95% of students receive financial assistance at Saint Mary.
