The state and district level education leaders met with local students on the first day of the school. District Trustee Katie Williams, State Superintendent Jhone Ebert, and CCSD Superintendent Dr. Jesus Jara met the students at Shadow Ridge High School on Monday.

The students committed that they are happy to be back to the school. One of the students said that staying together as long as possible will be beneficial for them. Superintendent Jara said, “From kindergarten, preschool, to now our high school students you see they are wearing their masks. They are really taking care of their health and really excited where they are today.”
