His sheer determination, principled work ethical approach, and vision have upheld the present stature of the institute. Continuing the legacy, this mission was taken ahead by his successor, Fr. Diniz, who gave the necessary impetus to the overall development of the institute. He picked up eminent people like Dr. Sesha Iyer, as Principal of the college, who complemented his vision by providing strong academic and administrative leadership to the institute. Fr. Carvalho, the present leader is a techno savvy philosopher having an ingenious personality and rejuvenates the institute with his dynamic and visionary leadership. Under his leadership and guidance, ably supported by Fr. Valarian D’Souza, the present Director, & Dr. Srija Unnikrishnan, the present Principal, the institute is scaling new heights. The major events organized by the CRCE are International Conference in Computing, Communication and Control (ICAC3), Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues Memorial Debate, TEDxCRCE, NSS, and summer and winter Short Term Training Programmes, Seminars and Workshops. The institute hosts intra and inter- collegiate annual Technical, Cultural and Sports fests.

Working diligently and meticulously over the last three decades, the institute has achieved many milestones and reached the harbor of success. In 2017 The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) GOI, has ranked the college among the top 200 Engineering Colleges in the country. Also, various independent surveys conducted by India Today, Times of India, Education World, Hindustan Times, The MINT, etc. have ranked the institute among the top segment of the colleges in the country. .

Best Algorithm Design award, Most Innovative Solution award and many more have been bagged by the institute in competitions conducted by e-yantra under the sponsorship of Ministry of HRD, GOI.
