Established in the year 2000 I.T.S-Centre for Dental Studies and Research (I.T.S-CDSR) is located on Delhi-Meerut road, Murad Nagar, Ghaziabad. The college established under the vision of visionary Dr. R.P Chadha and is now currently being propelled to new heights under the able leadership & guidance of young and dynamic Vice Chairman of I.T.S- The Education Group “Mr. Arpit Chadha”. With four campuses & offering wide variety of Under Graduate & Post Graduate Courses (viz. Phd., MDS, MPT, M.Pharma, M.Tech., MBA, MCA, PGDM, BDS, BPT, B.pharma., D.pharma, BBA, BCA, B.Tech.) in Dental, Allied Health Sciences, Management & Engineering, I.T.S is one of the leading Education Group in the country.
Being one of the premier institutes of the country, the college imparts quality dental education through BDS (100 seats/year) & MDS (45 seats/year in all 9 disciplines) courses. Hence, the working of the institution revolves on the patient management software “ORION” which manages a daily OPD of nearly 700 patients. It maintains electronic medical and laboratory records, billing, management information system and inventory, thereby enabling a completely digitized hospital which renders patient care in an organized manner.

The college offers excellent learning experiences right from the BDS I and II year courses. It offers structured “Early Induction Program” where the entire batch is divided into groups and posted in clinical departments on rotation basis once a week in order to sensitize about the course at an early stage. I.T.S-CDSR also augments academic learning through innovative teaching methods such as flipped learning, microteaching, webinars and Integrated Academic Reinforcement & Curriculum Enhancement (IARCE). It includes enhanced modification of curriculum, integrated teaching, feedback system and curriculum enrichment to make the learning experience more interactive.
Additionally, I.T.S-CDSR has also accomplished another landmark in imparting advanced dental education by offering “Advanced Implantology Course” for undergraduates and postgraduates. I.T.S-CDSR has designed a comprehensive and developmental program to assist students in making and implementing informed educational and occupational choices. This includes lectures on “clinical practice/ career building” by alumni (UG and PG) of the college where they share their academic and clinical experiences with the students in order to help them become successful future dentists. The college also conducts the “Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp” annually, which is a free-certificate course sponsored by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. This course helps to create awareness among students about various facets of entrepreneurship as an alternative career option. It facilitates students to explore new possible opportunities to start up their own business unit as per government procedures.
Another novel initiative by the college is the implementation of “Easy Test Software”, which is an MCQ-based learning software to help students prepare for future competitive exams. The institute also has a tie up with the premier coaching institutes for the NEET preparation of interns and final year BDS students.
The college encourages the students to apply for grants for projects awarded by the esteemed “Indian Council of Medical Research”. This enables them to take up junior and senior research fellowships post completion of their course motivating students to consider research as a career prospect.
Beyond the Curriculum
The college offers the students numerous opportunities to explore their potential. It organizes various national, state level and specialty conferences where undergraduate and post graduate students can participate in paper and poster presentations. Many other activities are also organized by the college including inter and intra college cultural events (Occlusion and Euphoria), sport events, Hostel day, PG day, and Fresher’s Party. Additionally, it hosts ‘celebrity nights’ where renowned celebrities like Mika Singh, Baadshah and Shaan have performed. It provides the students with opportunities to take a break from their daily academic schedule and celebrate with enthusiasm. The students participate in leisure activities, which include yearly excursion trips to places like Goa, Manali, Shimla and so on. Another noticeable movement is the “stress buster” activity practiced on the last Saturday of every month.

I.T.S-CDSR, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad has recently been awarded “Best Dental College” among the private colleges in North India and has been ranked 7th in the country as per India Today Survey 2019. It has received the second rank for career progression, third in personality and leadership development, and 4th for academic excellence at all India level.
