ICFAI Law School Signs MoU with School of Law, Pittsburgh University, US

ICFAI Law School a constituent of The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), declared as  a Deemed-to-be University, Hyderabad,  has signed MoU with the School of Law, Pittsburgh University, United States of America for collaboration in the field of legal education. The collaboration MoU covers the exchange of faculty, students, research partnerships and  joint conferences etc.

Mr Wildermuth, Dean School of Law, and Ariel C Armony, Vice Provost for Global Affairs have signed the MoU on behalf of the School of Law Pittsburgh and Prof A V Narsimha Rao, Director, ICFAI Law School, IFHE Hyderabad and Prof J Mahender Reddy Vice Chancellor of IFHE have signed the MoU. Both the law schools have agreed to organize one Online Workshop on ‘Arbitration Proceedings and Impact of Covid 19’ in the forthcoming week. Both the law schools believe in the practical learning, focuses on clinical courses and blend of theory and practice in the curriculum.

It is interesting to note that the MoU documents were signed in online mode in a pandemic situation like the present, due to Covid-19 outbreak world-wide.

The School of Law, University of Pittsburgh established in 1895 is ranked 76 among the  best law schools in performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence. The ICFAI Law School established in 2010 is ranked 7th by the Careers 360, 2nd by the GHRDC and 15th by India Today.
