ICFAI wins Prestigious “Leadership Legacy Award in Higher Education” at 20th World Education Summit

The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education won the prestigious “Leadership Legacy Award in Higher Education” in recognition of its exemplary contribution to the Education Sector, at the 20th World Education Summit, organized by Elets Technomedia Pvt Ltd on 24th September 2021.

Credit goes to the founder Late N J Yasaswy for his visionary leadership and intellectual courage, who developed a strong leadership pipeline and helped build a world class institution. With his vision and strategy, at ICFAI over the last 35 years, we have been able to establish 11 Universities, 9 Business Schools, 7 Tech Schools, 7 Law Schools, all in all, we have about 17 campuses in 16 States. This award is a testimony to the tremendous efforts put in by faculty members who have created an impeccable record of maintaining academic standards and worked on student outcomes. It is our pleasure and honour to receive this award and continue to work for providing leadership in education and also generate more and more leaders from the students graduating from this esteemed institution.

Chief Guest:

Prof. (Dr.) Anil D. Sahasrabudhe Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was the Chief Guest at this Awards Ceremony.

Special Guests:

Mr. M Nagarajan, IAS Director, Higher Education Department, Government of Gujarat,  Prof. K. Rama Mohan Rao, Vice Chairman, Andhra Pradesh State council of Higher Education, Government of AP participated as the Special Guests in the event.

Speakers at the Event:

There were about 125 speakers including Chancellors, Presidents, Vice Chancellors, Directors, Co-Founders of various institutes participated in the Award Ceremony and delivered lectures in the World Education Summit held between 22 and 24th September 2021.

Category wise speakers:

95 speakers are from Private & Deemed Universities, 10 speakers are from Government Universities (IIT, IIM, IIIT, NIT etc), 5 speakers are from Government and 15 speakers are from Edtech & Industry experts.

Jury:

Three Jury Members who thoroughly evaluated the winners, chosen from Higher Education sector, Edtech Industry and Learning & Development sector.

Total Participants: More than 5000 participants joined in the event, consisting Chancellors, VCs, Founder Chairmans,   Directors, Deans, HODs, Research Scholars, Faculty, Students etc.
