The application procedure has been opened for the DAAD 2020. In cooperation with the German government, the University Grant Commission (UGC) enables students from any Indian university to work on cooperative research projects in the main fields of humanities and social sciences. Interested candidates will have to send their applications by 4 August at ugcic2@gmail.com via the university or college where they are enrolled.
The scholarship can be used not only by students but also by professors, university teachers, postdoctoral and doctoral scientists. UGC and DAAD can only accept the application if Indian and German partners have submitted a parallel application. German and Indian students would work on a related technology or project. Two years will be spent jointly on a jointly funded project.
