Jharkhand: Students in Rural Areas Lack Access to Online Education

As per the survey of a non-governmental organization Gyan Vigyan Samiti, a vast majority of students have not been able to access online education during the Covid-19 pandemic. The survey also revealed that there has been a decline in the learning level of students as well.

According to the report, only 12.8% of students understand the subject properly. The survey was carried out in 877 villages in 17 districts. It included all type of people such as farmers, small traders, daily workers, contract labourers and permanent employees. The group will soon submit its report along with recommendations to the state government.
