Kentucky

According to the Kentucky’s governor Andy Beshear, this time is exactly opportune for the state to build on its economic momentum by making ‘historic investment’ in education.

On Monday 6th December 2021, he took a stock of some of the budget proposals and reviewed them so that he could present the best one in front of the Republican-dominated legislature in the assembly early next year.

He further added that since Kentucky’s this year’s budget is one of the healthiest ever, the time is ripe to have a healthier investment in education. He also indicated that the education proposals will also include pay raise and retention programs for educators to reduce teacher turnover in classrooms.
