KIET Group of Institutions is a pioneer in the field of technical education and has gained a distinctive reputation among other institutes in Uttar Pradesh. KIET was established in 1998 by a group of distinguished edupreneurs whose most ambitious initiative was philanthropy. The institute was started to ensure the provision of service to the society by utilizing a non-governmental education system. Located on the Ghaziabad-Meerut Road, it currently holds over 5400 students and has seen substantial growth in the past 2 decades. It has also ensured that the need for good quality technical education is fulfilled in the state of U.P. The institute is self – funded and holds approval from the AICTE along with being affiliated to Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The institute has left no stone unturned in ensuring that the students are provided ample facilities which help in developing their overall personality. The vast institute which lies across 18.2 acres is a haven of multiple modern facilities such as fully furnished lecture halls/tutorials in the academic blocks, advanced computer centers, and well-equipped seminar/conference halls to assist in better methods of conducting classes. Primarily, every classroom is air conditioned and is fitted with the latest audio-visual teaching apparatus along with smart boards and modern furniture. There are various centers of excellence which work 24/7 including Information Technology and Software Services and Innovation labs. Hobby clubs is another such feature that is open for longer hours to provide guidance and hands on experience for the students. The students are also given multiple facilities to make their stay more efficient. Students who belong to various parts of the country can avail hostel facilities along with a canteen that provides them with the required nourishment. The campus also contains stationery store, a 24 hour ambulance facility, medical support, transport options as well as a multipurpose complex. The uniqueness of KIET lies in the fact that it teaches the students to imbibe an ‘attitude to excel’ in any field that they choose.

Providing an Array of Educational Choices

The institute has a wide list of NBA accredited courses for the students to choose from as to ensure that they go on to find a path towards their ideal careers. It offers courses such as B.Tech which is a four year full time course in nine specializations namely Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science and Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. It also provides courses such as B. Pharm and M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Quality Assurance), M. Tech (Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering), MBA and MCA. Apart from these courses, the institute also helps students by funding their innovation and research based projects which ensure the students have plenty of assistance from the institute.  KIET also provides Ph.D courses in selected streams as it is an approved Research Centre of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. KIET has been ranked in the rank band of 151-200 among engineering colleges and in the rank band of 76-100 for Pharmacy in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2018).

KIET also believes in helping the students improvise and refine their passions by establishing various student clubs and innovation centers. These are useful in giving them a platform to turn their thoughts into reality and these unique courses include language courses, summer/winter courses for Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Robotics, CAD and many more. The institute also offers the students an Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics in collaboration with Mercedez Benz India Pvt Ltd. They have also set up an in-house Technology Business Incubator which is associated with the NSTEDB, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India which aims towards promoting Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the institute as well as other areas of learning.
