Maharashtra Government Releases SOP for School Reopening

The Maharashtra government has decided to allow more students to visit the schools. The School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said that the students of Classes 5 to 12, will be allowed to attend classes in rural areas from August 17. While in urban areas, classes 8 to 12 students will be allowed to attend the schools.

She also released the SOP for the safe return of students to the schools. The schools will reopen in the areas, where the cases of corona virus are under control. The final decision to send students to schools will be up to their parents.
