Reopen Schools

The graph of second wave of COVID-19 pandemic is lowering gradually in Maharashtra. Hence, the government has decided to reopen the schools in COVID-free zones. The villages that did not find any active cases for a month are allowed to reopen the schools from July 15. Classes 8-12 will start the proceedings offline from the above-mentioned date.

Minister of school education department, Varsha Gaikwad yesterday tweeted a video sharing the Government’s decision. She also stated that a committee should be formed in the villages to take the decisions.

This committee will be consisting of Sarpanch, Principal, Regional Medical Officer, and some of the villagers. However, student’s safety will be the priority.
