The new student visa rule has stirred a lot major companies in the United States. Majority of American Technology companies Including Google, Facebook and Microsoft have joined hands with a lawsuit that had been filed by The Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology against the Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE).

ICE is responsible for the latest rule that bars any international student from staying in the United States unless they attend at least on in-person course. This lawsuit has been enforced to seek a temporary restraining order and a preliminary injunction, that states that this law would hamper the companies recruiting process and would dampen the flow in which the company hires and trains recruits and their future employees.

This law would also make it impossible for a large number of these students to attend the CPT and OPT programmes. This just suggests that they would be sending away talented students to be hired by their competing companies.
