Making Learning Fun: CBSE to Release a Joyful Academic Calendar

Taking into consideration the suspension of classes due to the lockdown, the Central Board of Secondary Education has asked the National Council of Education Research and Training to develop an alternate academic calendar. The governing member of the board stated that this calendar will include a suggestion on ways and means to use technology.

The board members have announced that the new curriculum will be soon circulated among the teachers and the principals. The board says that the time has come for teachers and schools to adapt to the latest technology and conduct classes. The calendar and the curriculum will also include online classes which will be aligned with the normal routine of the school.

While the board is taking steps to digitalize the education program it has also advised the parents to enlighten the students about the misuse of online learning and any misinterpretation of online learning. Staring with virtual classes, video conferences, and group video calls, the board has planned various modes of fun-filled  virtual teaching.
