In a bustling event, Dr. Hassan Al-Muhairi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Curriculum Sector at the Ministry of Education, inaugurated the Dubai edition of Najah, the largest annual international education fair in the UAE. Thousands of eager school and college students flocked to the event, seeking the latest opportunities in higher education.
Dr. Al-Muhairi emphasized the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to providing students with the finest educational avenues. He highlighted the Ministry’s dedication to enlightening students about promising prospects in the evolving education and learning landscape. Additionally, he expressed the Ministry’s determination to facilitate students’ pursuit of higher education by enabling access to prestigious domestic and international educational institutions.
The free-to-enter event featured over 80 universities from more than 15 countries, including renowned institutions such as Iowa State University, St Cloud State University, University of Waterloo, University of Guelph, and many more. The participation of local institutions like the University of Sharjah, American University of Sharjah, Zayed University, UAE University, and Higher Colleges of Technology added a local flavor to the global event.
With more than 30 seminars and live Q&A sessions, the three-day fair aimed to enlighten students about emerging disciplines and established fields with promising career prospects. The ‘Success Hub’ provided a platform for higher education experts to share insights, while the School Counsellors’ Forum facilitated valuable interactions among educators.
A highlight for students and parents was the showcase of scholarship and financial aid opportunities, coupled with expert guidance on successful application strategies that appeal to admission committees.

Following the Dubai edition, Najah Abu Dhabi is set to take place from October 29-31 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The continued success and comprehensive offerings make Najah a pivotal event for students, parents, and educators alike.
