On CA Foundation Day, President Droupadi Murmu Launches New ICAI CA Syllabus

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) launched its new syllabus and began celebrating CA Foundation Day that was inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu. The celebration of the ICAI’s 75th anniversary was held on July 1 at Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi.

In keeping with International Education Standards and the National Education Policy, 2020, the new ICAI syllabus covers contemporary themes like Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain in an effort to provide CA applicants with abilities that are fit for the future.

On the ICAI’s foundation day, notable individuals from a variety of sectors sent well wishes to the organization, underscoring the essential that chartered accountants hold in the financial system of the country.

The devotion to boosting the economy and their analytical prowess were praised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Mr Modi tweeted saying, “On #CharteredAccountantsDay, we honour a professional community which is among our nation’s key financial architects. Their analytical acumen and steadfast commitment are crucial in strengthening our economy. Their expertise helps build a prosperous and self-reliant India. #CADay.”

Registration for the CA foundation course will be accepted under the current system up to July 1; however, registration under the new system will start on August 2. On the ICAI’s official website, prospective candidates can discover comprehensive information.

President Droupadi Murmu’s announcement of the revised curriculum marks a significant development in educating CA students for the opportunities and challenges of the future.
