The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot on Sunday said that the government is working to create the best environment for higher education. He was addressing through video conference at the foundation stone laying ceremony of Jai Minesh Tribal University. He further added that 123 new government colleges have been opened, to provide higher education facilities near the villages.
The state government has announced in the budget that if there are more than 500 girl students in the 11th and 12th class, then that school will be upgraded to a girl’s college. This decision has been taken to promote girl child education.
