Rishihood University signs an MOU to foster global academic and research relations with Russian and Korean universities

Rishihood University has signed an MoU today, with the Ural State Agrarian University, Russia & Kyungdong University, South Korea, in order to deepen its academic and scientific cooperation and to offer new and exciting pathways to students and teachers.

The MoU is part of the initiative of Rishihood University to support its main goal to create an environment that has a social impact right from its inception. The MoU would give students, teachers, and researchers an invaluable opportunity to collaborate in education and research.

Rishihood University and Ural State Agrarian University, Russia have agreed on a thematic research plan jointly approved by each of their institutions for scientific co-operation. The collaboration also aims to provide a forum for joint academic workshops, seminars, and conferences to students, teachers, and researchers; to help develop scientific cooperation; to provide mutual assistance to improve scientific qualification and to introduce the students, teachers, and researchers exchange programs. The MOU also involves a range of fields such as joint publications, research ventures, and publishing exchanges.

Three areas, student exchanges and exchanges of researchers, joint research, and sharing of resources are covered in the MOU with University Kyungdong of South Korea. It is possible for students to choose to switch in (1 + 3) or (2 + 2) format to Kyungding University.

In this arrangement, students will finish the first one to two years at the Rishihood Campus and then transfer to Kyungdong to complete the rest of the course. The students taking a transfer can earn 70% of the tuitions, depending on their results during the following year, in the first semester.

Students can also work part-time, according to the government of South Korea and university regulations. The key emphasis will be the promotion of academic excellence, sharing of expertise and cooperation in joint work in the field of faculty sharing.

The University of Rishihood is expected to open a creative school, a school of education, a school of entrepreneurship, and a school of health care to start its first group of students in September 2020.

The admission process has already started for the first batch of students applying for UG & PG programs.

Recently, the Rajya Sabha member, Shri Suresh Prabhu joined Rishihood University as its Founding Chancellor.
