Bhopal, July 1, 2019: Students and teachers of Sagar Public School Ratibad, Rohit Nagar, Gandhi Nagar and Saket Nagar marked Foundation day in form of celebrations splendid with enthusiasm and zeal with integrity, dedication, devotion and loyalty.

Foundation day celebrations at Sagar Public School, Ratibad began in form of a journey of the school which grew from a humble beginning to its eminent stature today in presence of Chief Guest Dr Jyoti Deshmukh, Principal SISTec Ratibad. Sagarites sang ‘Happy Birthday to Sagar Public School’ in Jubilant mode followed by a splendid yoga show, dance performances and conduction of Investiture Ceremony in an oath taking ceremony with march-past of the cabinet in presence of 200+ parents. The Foundation day at Sagar Public Rohit Nagar began with a ‘Go Green’ plantation drive in which students of class VI participated in plantation drive at Shahpura Hills (near Bal Hanuman Mandir) to plant over 300+ saplings. A spectacular cultural programme of dance and songs marked the celebrations followed by a cultural programme of dance and songs. The school also witnessed formation of its cabinet with conduction of Investiture Ceremony in presence of Colonel Abhinav Kumar from Delhi who administered the oath ceremony and initiated the plantation drive with all council planting and adopting one plant each outside the school Premises with pledge to take care. Sagarites of Sagar Public School Gandhi Nagar, celebrated Foundation day by conducting art and craft activities, recreational games besides the pool with over 100+ children of Sagar Vidya Niketan (An initiative of Abhay Sagar Foundation-CSR Arm of Sagar Group with a mission to provide free holistic education to serve the mankind). A special assembly marked the day with sharing of good practices and update on activity – A hand fistful of grains followed by experiences shared by teachers and Sagarites. A felicitation ceremony also marked the day with awards to meritorious students and recognition to meritorious students of Class X and XII by the guest of honor Dr Keshavendra Choudhary, Principal, SISTec, Gandhi Nagar. Celebrations of Foundations day at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar began with in form of celebration of a journey of 19 years in presence of Dr Avinash Kumar Shrivastava, Director, CSIR-AMPRI. A felicitation ceremony marked the day with awards to meritorious students who overcame difficulties and challenges to bring laurels to school and parents. The highest scorers of various streams and subjects of Classes X & XII 2018-19 were also felicitated with appreciation and awards. Special awards including the Kaushalya Samman, The Sarla Science Proficiency Award, The Sarla Commerce Proficiency Award and The Sarla English Proficiency Award were conferred to deserving students. Celebrations also included a mesmerizing and enrapturing song by the SPS Choir with a motivating speech by Principal, Pankaj Sharma followed by inciting speeches by Sagarites articulating their experiences. The celebration culminated with a promise to set new benchmarks with every passing year and strive to strengthen the school’s proud legacy and even more enhance performance.
