After four months of closure, schools and colleges in Assam are set to reopen from today. The department of health has clarified that except for students below18 years, only those will be allowed to enter in the campus, who have taken at least one dose of covid-19 vaccine.

However, the number of vaccinated students, teachers, and other school staff is yet to be ascertained. Schools and colleges have prepared sitting arrangements ensuring physical distancing of at least 6 feet in the classroom. Also, temperature checks of students and teachers have been instructed by the education department every day.
