From October 14, all private and government schools in Ladakh’s Leh district will reopen. Ladakh’s authorities have agreed to reopen schools for grades 9 to 12. Due to an increase in COVID-19 instances among students, the schools were recently closed.

Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, the District Magistrate of Leh, issued an order on October 11 evening, stating that all government and private schools, as well as residential schools and hostels, would be allowed to reopen for Classes 9 to 12 beginning October 14. Suse, on the other hand, requested that everyone adhere to rigorous COVID-19 regulations. By October 13, all heads of schools must follow the COVID-19 SOPs in cooperation with the Chief Education Officer.
