Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya (SVVV) is a State Private University established under Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Sthapana Avam Sanchalan) Adhiniyam in 2015 at Indore. The University has been established with a vision to create an educational environment that engages deep intellectual, moral and spiritual stimulation, there by nurturing leadership. It aims to pioneer a ‘mentoring’ based education system with a culture of its own, rooted in Indian ethos and in tune with contemporary times.
The primary motive of the University is to impart learning through understanding – knowledge enrichment, skill development, and positive attitude formation. It promotes endurance, excellence, fairness, honesty and transparency as its core values. The University strives to continuously enhance the quality of its academic and research offerings and effectiveness of teaching-learning process as its quality policy. Situated at Indore, SVVV is a multi-disciplinary University focusing on the needs of various segments of the society.

The University offers 80+ undergraduate, postgraduate, dual degrees, diploma and Ph.D. programs. The popular programs include B. Tech., B. Tech. + M. Tech., B.Tech. + M.B.A., M. Tech., B. Arch., B.Des., BCA+MCA, M. B. A., B. Sc. (Hons), B. Sc. + M. Sc., and many more. The entire campus provides an ambience conducive to teaching and learning. The infrastructure of the University includes administrative block, academic block, library, sports complex, computer hardware and network maintenance cell, auditorium, internet and transportation facility, medical center, and so on.
Visionary Leadership
SVVV marches ahead on the path of educational excellence under the astute leadership of Purushottamdas Pasari, the Chancellor, and Dr. Upinder Dhar, the Vice Chancellor. Shri Pasari attained academic excellence and received the degree of M.Com, L.L.B., and diploma in business management. He overcame adverse circumstances and successfully managed Shri Vaishnav Trusts and educational institutions run by the Trusts.
Dr. Dhar is a well-known educationist in the country. He has authored/co-authored more than 600 publications. In 2002-03, he was bestowed with Fellowship by ISTD and was recently conferred. Ravi J. Matthai National Fellow Award by the Association of Indian Management Schools.

Throughout its journey towards attaining educational excellence, SVVV has achieved numerous landmarks. Careers 360 rated the Institute of Technology and Science of the University as ‘AAA’ at national level (April 2017, Volume IX, Issue 04).The University was ranked 29th under Nurturing Next – Gen Leaders by Entrepreneur. Competition Success Review recognized the Institute of Technology and Science of the University as a Promising Engineering College under CSR-GHDC Engineering College Survey 2017. Higher Education Review– 2018 recognized the Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication of the University as one of the Top 20 Promising Media & Mass Communication Colleges in India in 2018. The Knowledge Review recognized the Institute of Architecture of the University amongst the 10 Most Innovative Institutes for Architecture in 2018.

The University is in the process of establishing relationship with industry and academic institutions of repute in the country and abroad. The overall development of each student is the prime focus of SVVV. The University provides modern curricula and teaching methodologies matching global standards. It lays strong emphasis on not just ‘learning’ but ‘understanding’, and learning by doing.
The University has highly experienced full-time/visiting faculty for all programs drawn from leading management and engineering institutions from across the country and abroad. They conduct a unique one-on-one student mentoring program for their all-round personality development. SVVV maintains strong industry linkages to impart rich hands-on experience to the students.
SVVV believes that it is the responsibility of the institution to develop the student’s into responsible professional’s right from the initial stage. The University considers the students as active partners in managing various activities such as conferences, guest lectures, seminars, placement activities, and so on. The University ensures that students plan and take active role in the life of the University rather than remaining passive recipients.
Future Plans
Marching forward, the University intends to provide teaching and training in higher education and make provision for research as well as advancement and dissemination of knowledge. In the days to come, it aims to create Centers of Excellence for research and development for sharing knowledge and its applications in various domains of life.
