Smt. Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, Kamptee was started in 1997 offering a four-year degree course in Pharmacy (B.Pharm). With the constant quest for excellence, the Institute extended its reach through innovation and research and introduced a Post-Graduate Course in Pharmacy (M.Pharm). This course specialization includes Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics & Pharmacology and Quality Assurance, followed by the Ph.D. program with a UGC approved research center.

Outstanding Educational and Infrastructural Facilities

The institute has spread over twenty acres with a huge infrastructure of about sixty thousand square fits of the area. This gigantic space includes classrooms, tutorial rooms, seminar hall, conference hall, laboratories, research laboratories, animal house, computer lab, language laboratory, library, separate girls and boys hostel, pilot plant, cooperative store among many more. The classrooms are spacious, well ventilated and equipped with advanced LCD/DLP projectors, display screens, and also have a display board for notices, LAN and Wi-Fi facility for showing some online educational videos. As the institute is growing, it is expanding into the new technologies, methodologies, disciplines, and resources. It provides quality education, developing various laboratories carefully and updating them with the latest sophisticated equipment.

SKBCOP has been ranked top 34th amongst the Best Pharmacy Colleges of India & top 44th by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. It is accredited by the International Accreditation Organization. It is headquartering of Pharma-HR Society. It has MoU with Pench Tiger Reserve, Govt. of Maharashtra for the development of the Herbal garden. The college is awarded by the Nav Bharat group as the best college of Pharmacy in Nagpur.

The institute conducts national level conferences and seminars under the banner of Pharma HR Society. It organizes guest lectures from eminent personalities from industry, workshops for soft skill development of students, group discussions sessions for effective communication skills, resume writing sessions, mock interviews and effective interview techniques for its students. As it has the strongest industrial networks and tie-ups, it conducts campus interviews of reputed Pharma companies like Lupin Ltd, Alembic Ltd, Sun Pharma Ltd, Mylan laboratories, etc. It also has MoU with Lupin Ltd, Sanofi India, Getz Pharma, BDA Pharma, NM Pharma, and many others.

Annual Events and Extra-curricular Activities

SKBCOP organizes various extra-curricular activities under the annual gathering entitled as ‘KSHITIJ’. It conducts- National Level Pharma Quiz Contest and National level Dance competition. During the sports week, various sports activities and competitions are conducted for the students. Also, Pharma Court, Pharma Camp, and Educational tour were conducted for the third-year students. Tree Plantation, Yoga day, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan, AIDS day, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and several other social activities are also conducted by the NSS unit of the college with dedication and euphoria.

The college maintains regular interaction with its alumni. Most of the alumni are placed at different levels in the pharma field. Some of them are Sachin Patel, is a Senior Business Analyst /Scrum Master at SLK Software, USA. Rincy Joseph is a Sustainability Expert, at Bayer AG, Germany. Shweta Bhattacharya is a Team Leader at TCS, Mumbai. Maithili Golhar, is a drug safety Investigator, at PL Development, New York, USA.
