Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) is a state-run university in the Bihar Darbhanga district. From the utter surprise, an undergraduate from the university got 151 out of 100 in one of the subject papers.

On Sunday, the student said he received the highest score in his BA (Honours) Political Science paper-4 in the part-2 examination.

He also added that “he was amazed after sighting the results. Although it was provisional, authorities might have checked it before releasing the results.”

One more student scored zero in Accounting and Finance paper-4 in his BCom part-2 examination and got promoted to the next grade. The students said, “the university accepted that it was a typing error, and they issued him a revised mark sheet.”

Further, Mushtaq Ahmed, the varsity registrar, said both mark sheets had typing mistakes.
