The historic year was 1993 when the first premise of T. John Institute of Hotel Management was established on the Campbell Road in Bangalore. The institution started with a bang, and today, it is the premier institute in the field of Hotel Management Education in India. It is affiliated to Bangalore University, All India Council Of Technical Education, and NAAC (‘A’ Grade). With an annual intake of 120 students (largest in Bangalore), the institute is proud of its 100% placement record for the last decade. This is the direct result of the state-of-the-art infrastructure and its brilliant teaching brigade, which adds value to the fame of the institute.

About the Curriculum
The Department of Hotel Management started in the year 1993 with the objective to recognize and prepare students to join the hotel and hospitality industry. The college offers a four-year BHM Degree Programme (8 semesters) to develop abilities in both the operational domain of a hotel, initiate hospitality research, and the overall discipline of management. The programme includes four months of internship opportunities in both operational and managerial fields.

Spread across over two Acres of Land, amidst 25 acres of the campus, the institute has facilities of Boys and Girls Hostel, 2 canteens and 3 Kiosks, well-equipped library, Wi-Fi facility, and 12 lecture rooms.
