The department has proposed Internet access for 31 institutions; set up a skill training center at the Central Polytechnic College in Chennai for students with disabilities; erect mobility centers for electric vehicles in two colleges, including the women’s college in Coimbatore. A measure of ₹180 crores was allotted to develop framework offices in government schools; further, Mr. Ponmudy said.
