Wales Sees a Rise Of 19 Per Cent in Acceptance of Non-Eu Students

A university and College Admission Studies (UCAS) survey results shows that in the latest admission cycle of 2021, some 1875 or 19% more than 2020, non-European Union students have been admitted by Welsh Universities into their programmes.

It is a part if the bigger positive trend according to Global Wales, a united forum of Universities Wales, Welsh Government, the Higher Education Funding Council of Wales and British Council Wales. The forum also noted that this was one of the biggest rise among the UK nations.

Thus, compared to last year, combining with domestic students, the rise was of 1.5% in the total number of applicants accepted by Welsh Universities.
