Aurora’s PG College, Ramanthapur is the largest and one of the oldest standalone MBA/ MCA Colleges in Telangana. It was established in 1995 under the aegis of Aurora Group of Institutions, which is one of the largest educational groups in the State of Telangana. Ever since its establishment in 1995, Dr. Ramesh Nimmatoori, the General Secretary and Founder of Aurora Educational Society, has been lauded for building Aurora’s PG College, Ramanthapur from a college with a student intake of 60 to the current count of 1200.
Under his able guidance the Aurora Group has established around thirty professional colleges across Telangana State offering UG and PG courses in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Architecture, Management, Law etc. He has made a significant contribution to the educational advancement of the Telangana region through these institutions that count for an annual turnover of Rs 125 Crores. He believes that educational institutions are obliged to nurture responsible citizens of the country with all round personality development and a service bent.
Through his visionary leadership, Aurora’s PG College, Ramanthapur has scaled to the position of the largest standalone PG College in the state of Telangana.
Besides introducing Aurora Model of Teaching Learning Process in the curriculum implementation of Aurora’s PG College, Ramanthapur that brought a paradigm shift in the instructional system of the institution, Dr Ramesh promotes the academic and research endeavours of the institution through his guidance and motivation to the team of faculty lead by Dr. Madhavi, the Director of the Institution. Dr. Ramesh has been providing administrative guidance to all the institutions of Aurora Group, ensuring their healthy growth and development, at the same time, providing autonomy in the functioning of the institutions and enabling synergic development of the institutions. Dr. Ramesh has been instrumental in the development of various quality documents useful for the functioning of the institutions. The “Principal’s Hand Book for MBA Colleges” is one such a master document which focuses on the road map to be followed by the Principals of Management Colleges. The document got Copyright from the Government of India in 2014.
