Rajasthan Government has retracted its previous decision of reopening the schools from 2nd August. Looking at the possibility of third wave of COVID-19, the decision has been postponed and will be taken soon.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot conducted a virtual meeting with the ministers and officials. A committee has been formed to take the decision of reopening the schools. It will also decide the standard operating procedure of reopening the educational institutes.
The committee will co-operate with the Ministries of Health and Human Resources, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and other states, where educational institutions have been reopened. The final decision will be taken after the detailed report of the committee.
